1 Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. 2 For by it the men of old received divine approval.
8 By faith Abraham obeyed when he was called to go out to a place which he was to receive as an inheritance; and he went out, not knowing where he was to go. 9 By faith he sojourned in the land of promise, as in a foreign land, living in tents with Isaac and Jacob, heirs with him of the same promise. 10 For he looked forward to the city which has foundations, whose builder and maker is God. 11 By faith Sarah herself received power to conceive, even when she was past the age, since she considered him faithful who had promised. 12 Therefore from one man, and him as good as dead, were born descendants as many as the stars of heaven and as the innumerable grains of sand by the seashore. 13 These all died in faith, not having received what was promised, but having seen it and greeted it from afar, and having acknowledged that they were strangers and exiles on the earth. 14 For people who speak thus make it clear that they are seeking a homeland. 15 If they had been thinking of that land from which they had gone out, they would have had opportunity to return. 16 But as it is, they desire a better country, that is, a heavenly one. Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God, for he has prepared for them a city. 17 By faith Abraham, when he was tested, offered up Isaac, and he who had received the promises was ready to offer up his only son, 18 of whom it was said, "Through Isaac shall your descendants be named." 19 He considered that God was able to raise men even from the dead; hence, figuratively speaking, he did receive him back.

Friendly Sopot |
When after Gala in Voluntary Centre Agata Młynarska came to me and asked me if I let her interview myself on TV I felt that it was a difficult decision to me but despite my fears and doubts I agreed. I knew that somebody who does not risk doesn not do anything and does not have anything, does not experience anything and does not give anything to other people.
Then I was told that it would be on-line interview. I was very nervous but everything went well.
It seemed to me nothing special but after some time I got a message that one woman liked my TV interview and she would like to invite me to Sopot for holidays!
Ms Anna G. appeared to be friendly and cordious person who knows that every good thing that we give is like a wave that spreads through the ocean and comes back multiplied.
I have no doubt that Ms Ania should be blessed because she gave me her beautiful flat in the centre of Sopot for this holidays. I could take there some of my friends, i.a. several protectors so that none of them was too tired with caring of me :)
First week was rainy so together with Paweł and Ania Wr we were visiting many places. We saw one significiant beautiful place - Church of Pregnant Mary in Matemblewo. There are beautiful park, church and chapel of Pregnant Mary there.
Then Ola, Andrzej and Ania Wi. arrived. It was nice to walk with them through the old streets of Gdańsk.
I also had a very nice surprise when I met Sylwia from St. Anna Mountain there. She was walking and she did not suppose to meet a friend. However sometimes our dreams come true!
Usually it is Sylwia who invites me in Pilgrim`s house so I was happy to invite her to "my flat" this time.
Obviously most of our time was spent in Sopot where there were many interesting places to see. We often used plan of the city which fascinated Ania Wi. so much that she even wore it:)
I like places with its legend very much so I visited Grand Hotel. Nice employes were showing me off all the building apart from Casino where I was stopped with an economic barrier...
I was also impressed with the Forest Opera that I knew only from TV. At that time nobody suspected that I would stand on this stage:)
I saw tennis matches at Sopot. Monika, my friend from Gdańsk, played there too but in navy orchestra. I was very happy that even so far from my home I could meet my friends like Monika and Magda.
When it was warmer we were atracted by the Sopot beach. I liked promenade leading along the beach the most. We could go there from Sopot to Gdańsk. It was an ideal place to walk
I was very happy that my invitation was accepted by Marta and her husband - Adam.
Marta was the first person who went with me for the integration camp in 1995. Then everything started and I am do enjoyed that our Friendship still lasts and develops.
Marta and Adam are doctors so they took medical care of me. For example they were dropping my eyes :)
In the evenings Adam was playing the guitar and he was singing.
I think that there are moments in everyone`s life that are especially precious and there are people who will not be forgotten and they are in our hearts forever. For me such a beautiful recollection is stay at Sopot. It is not only because my dream to see this fascinating seaside realised in such unusual way.
More important were the people whom I met and who invited me and gave me so much although they did not have to do it.
For example one manager took me with his car for an excellent trip to places that he appreciated as beautiful beach in Rewa. There are few people who know that place where water is pure and you can go far away along the sandy peninsula.
Every beautiful thing has to end so aur holidays passed. It was a time of saying good-bye and thank you especially to Ms Ania G. I am do grateful to her that her invitation was really cordial and I could feel her well-wishing and care.
Although I believe that good delivers good and attracts it I am conscious that I did not merit this precious and beautiful gift. I am also aware that I can experience in a special way something that is the most human and at the same time the most divine in every man...
On our way back we stayed at Holy Mary Church in Licheń. I am very happy that just there I could offer my special prayer and thanks for disinterested good I experienced but I cannot really find the right words to express my gratitude...
